AWANA is an activity for kids from preschool age to 12th grade. It runs every Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:30. There
are three sections to AWANA: Cubbies, for kids in preschool, Sparkies, for kids from kindergarten to 2nd grade, and Truth
& Training for 3rd grade to 6th grade. After that, there are junier high books and high school books, but they don't meet
on Tuesdays.
There are three parts to an AWANA night for Sparks and T&T: Handbook time, Game time, and Council time.
During handbook time, the kids recite the bible verses they had memorized over the week.
In game time, The kids play games. There are four teams, and the games are played on a circle.
In coucil time, the kids listen to something similar to a church service, except that it is much shorter, and is geared
towards younger kids, so they can understand it.
